LARCENY. On the 1000 block of Second Street, someone reportedly took a bicycle and failed to return it.

8:07 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. On Second Avenue, someone reportedly scratched the letters ``KKK'' on the fender of a vehicle. Officer: Robert Butler.
8:59 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. On Lansing Place, someone reportedly took four dice valve caps from a parked vehicle. Officer: Robert Butler.
9 a.m. ASSAULT. A man, 24, from the 1200 block of Broadway, was also charged with disorderly conduct.
2 p.m. ISSUING BAD CHECK. A man, 39, from the 100 block of South Swan Street, Albany, was arrested at a bank on Second Avenue as he allegedly attempted to cash a check on a closed account. He was also wanted by Albany Police on an active warrant for failure to pay a fine and falsifying business documents.
8:32 p.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. On Pine Street, a resident claimed two boys damaged a fence and entered a lawn. TROY

9 a.m. ASSAULT. On Phelan Court, a female reportedly threatened a man with a knife and hit him with a telephone.
11 a.m. BAD CHECK. On the 400 block of Ninth Street, a man claimed he received a worthless $390 check from a female. Officer: Sgt. Stephen Weber.
11:38 a.m. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. On the 200 block of Hoosick Street, someone reportedly damaged a washer and dryer. Officer: Lee Hess.
2:47 p.m. ACCIDENT. At Pawling and Plum avenues, a driver reportedly backed up, lost control and struck two parked vehicles.
4 p.m. INCIDENT. At Campbell and Sherman avenues, a passenger in a vehicle reportedly threw a rock at a stopped vehicle and struck and damaged the trunk.
4:30 p.m. ASSAULT. A man, 22, from the 200 block of Fourth Street, was charged.
4:30 p.m. LARCENY. On the 700 block of First Avenue, a check and a diamond and sapphire ring were reportedly taken from a residence. Officer: Sgt. David Dean.
10:10 p.m. DOMESTIC. On River Street, a female claimed her boyfriend pushed her to the floor and threatened to kill her.

12:08 a.m. ATTEMPTED LARCENY. On the 400 block of Seventh Avenue, three subjects reportedly attempted to steal a motorcycle and fled. Officer: Peter Montanino.
12:15 a.m. BURGLARY. On the 2100 block of Burdett Avenue, a laptop computer and computer equipment were reportedly stolen.
12:19 a.m. DRUG POSSESSION. A man, 24, of Glens Falls, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
2:17 a.m. UNLICENSED OPERATION. A man, 26, of James Lane, was charged.
3 a.m. EXPOSURE. A man, of Burdett Avenue, allegedly urinated in the street at Fourth and Ferry streets. Officer: Chris McDonald.
4:30 a.m. ASSAULT. On the 100 block of Fourth Street, two subjects reportedly pulled a female's hair, punched her in the face and threw her to the ground.
10:52 a.m. HARASSMENT. On the 600 block of Fourth Street, a woman said a man slapped and punched her.
2:42 p.m. GRAND LARCENY. On the 400 block of First Street, three dogs were reportedly taken from a residence.
9 p.m. ASSAULT. On the 400 block of Fifth Avenue, a man claimed his landlord came for rent and punched him in the face.
9:37 p.m. HARASSMENT. A man, 41, of Ingalls Avenue, was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a domestic incident. Officer: Charles Batchelor.

Saturday, Sept. 2
12:51 a.m. DWI. A man, 35, from the 1700 block of Highland Avenue, was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent.
12:57 a.m. DWI. A woman, 29, River Street, Cohoes, allegedly drove to a friend's house with her infant son after consuming alcohol. She engaged in a fight with her boyfriend as she held her son, and was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. 3:13 a.m. DWI. A man, 53, from the 200 block of Brunswick Road, was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent on Congress Street.
3:14 a.m. DWI. A man, 23, Wynantskill, was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent. Officer: Sgt. John Cooney.
9:27 p.m. ASSAULT. A man, 32, from the 2300 block of 12th Street, was also charged with first-degree criminal contempt.
Sunday, Sept. 3
12:20 a.m. GRAND LARCENY. A man, 24, homeless, was charged.
4:25 a.m. DWI. A man, 27, of Jefferson Avenue, was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to produce a license, and unsafe backing.
12:10 p.m. ASSAULT. On the 500 block of First Street, a female reportedly stayed overnight at a male's residence and while there, a female came to the home and attacked her with a baseball bat.
11:07 p.m. DRUG CHARGES. A man, 26, of Albany, was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, second-degree harassment, and second-degree obstruction of government administration.
Monday, Sept. 4
2:28 a.m. DISORDERLY CONDUCT. A man, 52, from the 3200 block of Seventh Avenue, allegedly shouted obscenities on the street and continued after police asked him to leave the area.
3:56 a.m. DWI. A man, 41, of California, allegedly drove on Glen Avenue in the wrong direction and failed to stop for police, then removed his foot from the brake and the car rolled towards a patrol car. He was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent and wrong way on a one-way road. EAST GREENBUSH

5:30 p.m. ACCIDENT. In a parking lot at Coventry Apartments, a subject reportedly backed from a parking spot and struck another vehicle.
Tuesday, Aug. 29
3:16 a.m. DWI. A man, 56, of Castleton, was also charged with having a blood-alcohol level greater than 0.10 percent and improper lane use. Officer: Eric Jukes.
8:15 a.m. UNAUTHORIZED USE. On Hudson Avenue, a male reportedly took a vehicle without permission. Officer: Michael Condo.
3:35 p.m. LARCENY. On Summit Avenue, a cell phone was reportedly taken from an unlocked truck.
9:02 p.m. LARCENY. On the 700 block of Columbia Turnpike, someone reportedly took a vehicle from a parking lot. Officer: Joseph DeSeve Jr.
Wednesday, Aug. 30
11:37 a.m. UNAUTHORIZED USE. A man, 44, of Rensselaer, allegedly took a vehicle without permission.
4:45 p.m. INCIDENT. At a business on Hays Road, marijuana was reportedly found on a playground.
6:25 p.m. ACCIDENT. A driver reportedly made a turn from a gas station and struck a 14-year-old bicyclist.
7 p.m. PETIT LARCENY. A man, 38, from the 400 block of Central Avenue, Albany, allegedly stole a diamond engagement ring from a victim and sold it. He was also charged with patient maltreatment. Officer: Matthew Breig.
8:12 p.m. CRIMINAL CONTEMPT. A male, 17, of Grant Avenue, was arrested on an active warrant and also charged with criminal mischief.
